Explain: Partitioned semantic networks.

·         Partitioned semantic networks allow for propositions to be made without commitment to truth, and ! expressions to be quantified.

·                   ·      The basic idea is to break the network into spaces which consist of groups of nodes and arcs, and regard each space as a node.

·                 ·   Ex.:
Anil believes that the earth is flat.

Here, we can encode the proposition that the earth is flat, in a space, and within it, we can have nodes and arcs to represent the fact.
We can have nodes and arcs to link this space and the rest of the network to represent Anil’s belief.
